Stephanie Turcios is the Assistant Fashion Director Fashion and a journalist for Project Captured. Stephanie graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a B.S. in Psychology and two minors in philosophy and neuroscience. Prior to Project Captured, Stephanie was a model in Chicago, providing her with hands on experience with the world of fashion. That exposure created a passion for fashion in her as she is now ecstatic to contribute from the perspective of a reporter. Stephanie’s day job consists of doing social work with the HIV+ community in Chicago. Humanitarian work by day and mingling in the fashionista crowd by night…not bad for a days work! Stephanie’s favorite ice cream flavor is coconut.
Stephanie’s “I am, I do, I like, and I want” Statement:
I AM Honduran (I say that first as I feel like it defines me the most), cultured, diverse and goofy.
I DO medical case management during the day, fashion by night.
I LIKE to live a double life.
I WANT to travel the world and explore different cultures through the fashion industry and through a humanitarian perspective…maybe even become a Goodwill Ambassador like Angelina Jolie minus all the children.
