Raised in sunny southern California, Rumala Sheikhani moved to the Windy City to pursue a career in business and live her dream in an urban jungle. At a very young age she developed an eye for creativity, which she channeled through graphic design, photography, and music. Along with this, a knack for business led her to enjoy entrepreneurial endeavors. Upon moving to Chicago, she attended DePaul University and earned a B.S. in Accounting, with minors in International Business and Arabic Language. Rumala started full-time work within the Public Accounting Industry after graduating college.
At Project Captured, Rumala serves as the Executive Music Editor, putting to work her 10+ years of experience in business, design, and love for music. Aside from her leadership role, she also contributes as a fashion journalist for Project Captured. You’ll often find Rumala shopping on the Magnificent Mile, enjoying the nightlife of downtown, and checking out live music around Chicago.
