Levi’s presented it’s first ever Global Collection yesterday afternoon during NYFW. Featuring a more tailored and refined collection, Levi’s made their point clear-they are taking back their place as the leader of casual wear.

Zang Toi showed to a packed house, with many adoring fans clamoring to get inside and patiently awaiting outside. As soon as the lights went off you knew the show was packed with love. The show started off with Adele’s soulful voice filling the room with her heart wrenching love stories, a down tempo beat that set the stage for Toi’s strong winter whites. Fox collars ruled the runway as well as white wool suiting for both men and women. Several of his pieces have French lace overlaid on wool suiting and cashmere wool blend dresses.

Duckie Brown | NYFW Fall 2012

In the natural-lit splendor of the West Village Industria Superstudio, coalesced a reflection of Duckie Brown‘s esteemed relaxation approach to menswear. Winter 2012 “Super Duckie” has strains of the voluminous textures we have seen from Steven Cox and Daniel Silver, but in a more streamlined, crisp scheme — without hitting head-on departure from that laid back feel. Monochromatic pieces balanced unexpected pops of (minimal) color and accessories. The fluidity kindled the eccentric accessory usage, creating a straightforward yet playful catwalk.
