Muga Dinner Menu for 2/20/12

Even with Restaurant Week in full swing, remember not to lose sight of other enjoyable food offerings intertwined amongst these days. On Monday night, join prestigious winemaker Juan Muga of Muga Winery, for an extensive Spanish wine and dinner spread at D.O.C. Wine Bar Chicago.

When out-of-towner friends and family pay us a visit, a crunched timeline is the usual. Trying to jam pack weeks worth of crazy into a few days becomes the norm and narrowing down where to eat is a full-time job. One restaurant that alleviates the hassle and always makes the list is Anderonville’s Michelin Bib Gourmand recipient, m. henry. For years I, and many other m. henry fans, have wanted its owners Michael Moorman and Jorge Aviles to dance with the evening crowd and put out a dinner menu. m. henry’s sister restaurant in Edgewater, m. henrietta, fulfills this desire with 5pm to 9pm dinner hours!

The above screenshots were taken directly off the iTunes website, and the application itself is the first of its kind. Sure, word-of-mouth from fellow friends who may share the same taste palette as you may be a comfortable option. Maybe you’re content with pulling up Yelp reviews before deciding where to eat. But neither can touch what “Chef Feed” has done for the adventurous, food-loving masses (yes, offense). These are not your colleagues, these are not amateur food critics, these are chefs who understand a multitude of various cuisines.

Six chefs! Heather Terhune (Sable Kitchen & Bar), Chuy Valencia (Chilam Balam), Sarah Grueneberg (Spiaggia), Beverly Kim (Aria), Chris Jones (Moto), and Richard Farina (Moto) will be in Texas to represent our city and fight for the Top Chef title.
