Imagine you had the chance to grace the cover of one of the most influential music magazines of all time. The fame, the fortune, the glory…well, maybe not so much the “fortune”, but you get the point. For one local band, this is not a mere daydream, but a tangible reality and they are fighting tooth and nail to make it happen. Empires is one of 16 bands chosen to compete in the magazine’s  “Choose the Cover of Rolling Stone” contest, a new competition that asks voters to choose which unsigned/indie act will add the “cover of Rolling Stone” to their bio.
