Jessica Burgwald is a journalist for Project Captured, specializing in Theatre and the Arts. She believes in inspiration and energy in all arts. She loves to create, view and immerse herself in art of all kinds: music, theatre, food, dance and visual. She finds the way these arts connect with the world at large is both interesting and stirring. There is nothing as satisfying as a true emotional connection. She truly believes being swept into art is one of the most powerful experiences one can have.
Jessica is a current student of DePaul University graduating in 2012 with a degree in Costume Technology. She has a deep love of all things fashion, historical, theatre, art, and adores researching new interests. In her free time she enjoys to create, to read, to use witty sayings and to go to The Chicago Diner.
Her favorite ice cream flavor is not actually ice cream, but raspberry sorbet. But they’re in the same section of the grocery store, so it counts, right?
Jessica’s “I am, I do, I like, and I want” Statement:
I AM a believer in the human spirit and the power in all of us.
I DO love my cat probably more than is healthy. No judgments.
I LIKE traveling, dancing, and laughter.
I WANT to be a part of something bigger than myself. I want to change for the better.
