Gina Marasigan

Gina Marasigan is a graduate of The Illinois Institute of Art- Chicago as a Fashion Marketing and Management major. If you wonder why she is listed as a Music Journalist instead of a Fashion Journalist, her response would sound something like, “It’s all the same!” As legendary fashion designer Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel once said: “Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street; fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.” Gina’s interests extend further into food, traveling, and adventure. A combination of all three make for a perfect evening: whether it be exploring unfamiliar territories throughout Chicago for dinner or cooking a new dish, which is an adventure in itself, she is passionate about what she does, but ultimately music is her number one.

I AM currently working on becoming the next Ringo Starr- slowly but surely- with the help of my starter electronic drum kit.
I DO enjoy the nightlife and exploring new venues in Chicago and beyond. In my last years I’d love to have the privilege of saying I own a venue/bar/restaurant that encompasses a little bit of everything I have seen and experienced throughout my lifetime.
I LIKE giving everything a chance so please offer up suggestions on what I should listen to next.
I WANT to acquire a plethora of knowledge and wisdom throughout my life to share with others and ultimately make a difference in this crazy world.
