Yana Frigelis is a journalist for Project Captured’s Fashion Column. Yana graduated from DePaul University with a B.S. in Business Administration and two minors in Spanish and International Business. Prior to Project Captured, Yana worked and studied abroad in Europe, providing her with a global perspective on everything from fashion to travel. Yana currently works for Hyatt and owns her own business: Nomad Luxuries, a portal for all things global. Much of her free time is occupied with jet setting to an exotic location or charity work in her hometown of Chicago. Yana’s favorite ice cream flavor is a tie between cioccolato e pistachio gelato…preferably indulged in Rome!

I AM a NoMad. I constantly travel the world meeting new people, hunting for rare finds and global experiences and immersing myself into different cultures.
I DO currently speak 6 languages… my goal is 10!
I LIKE a good glass of wine, Bossa Nova music, the Mediterranean, great friends and cashmere…
I WANT to feel the freedom of the open road; enjoy the treasure of the hunt and grow NoMad Luxuries to one day create a destination to indulge and escape from the everyday- increase cultural awareness and rewrite the concept of luxury all together.
